Time flies, and before we know it, more than half of 2025 has already passed. Under the careful guidance and heartfelt concern of the group’s leadership, the annual ship inspection and repair work has been scheduled as planned for this year.
During the preparation phase for this ship repair project, Comrade Tang Wenli, General Manager of the shipping company, organized and convened a mobilization and communication meeting to ensure that employees from all positions had a comprehensive understanding of the repair plan, clearly defined their respective responsibilities, and were able to respond to this ship repair task in a tense yet orderly manner.
At 5 p.m. on July 22, 2025, our company’s AirAsia vessel No. 009 smoothly docked at Berth No. 2 of Changdong Shipyard on Xiaogan Island, Zhoushan, marking the official start of the ship repair work. After the vessel was safely moored, the company’s leadership organized a meeting involving employees from all positions and department heads from aboard the ship. In-depth communication and discussions were held around issues such as safety assurance during ship repair, control of key milestones, and the ship repair plan. All participants were fully prepared and remained highly vigilant at all times, actively making thorough preparations to handle various complex situations.
Each annual ship inspection presents a valuable opportunity for learning and improvement, from which we’ve all benefited immensely. We deeply understand that only by continuously learning and keeping pace with the times can we stay firmly in step with the industry’s development. Therefore, we will persist in our efforts to enhance ourselves and approach every ship repair and inspection task with an even more rigorous and responsible attitude.
