Go deep into the frontline of shipping and safeguard our blue seas and skies.
Subsequently, the inspection team moved to the dock and boarded the in-transit refined oil tanker “Asia Air 006.” The inspection will focus intensively on the frontline of shipping operations. The inspection team will base its assessments on international conventions, domestic regulations, and the company’s Safety Management System (SMS). The documents underwent a rigorous inspection covering the operational and maintenance status of the vessel’s navigation safety equipment, critical operating procedures, and pollution prevention devices (such as oil-water separators, domestic wastewater treatment systems, and oil discharge monitoring systems, among others). In addition, records and effectiveness of emergency drills, the ship-shore coordination capabilities for emergency response, records of shipboard waste management, and the crew’s familiarity with safety and environmental protection regulations all served as key components of this inspection.

Tang Wenli, General Manager of the shipping company, personally reviewed statutory documents such as the Oil Record Book and the Garbage Record Book, and thoroughly inquired about the technical and management measures adopted by the vessel to optimize routes, reduce fuel consumption, cut carbon emissions, and prevent water pollution. He went on deck and entered the engine room, warmly interacting with frontline crew members, listening carefully to their opinions and suggestions, and repeatedly emphasized: “ Ships are our mobile oil depots—and even more so, they serve as the central platform for demonstrating our company’s safety culture and environmental responsibility. We must ensure, at the highest standards, that:
1. Safety first, constant vigilance: Strictly adhere to navigation safety regulations, strengthen preventive maintenance of equipment, enhance crew members’ emergency response capabilities, and ensure that vessels are always in a state of absolute navigational safety, firmly establishing a robust safety defense for maritime transportation.
2. Prioritize environmental protection and pursue green development: Strictly enforce both international and domestic anti-pollution regulations, ensuring that all pollution-control equipment is always in optimal working condition. Standardize the handling of various ship-generated pollutants, actively embrace and adopt low-carbon and energy-efficient new technologies, and remain steadfast guardians of clear blue seas and skies.

Strengthen responsibility and commitment, and jointly build a sustainable future.
This comprehensive inspection, personally led by the Chairman, is not only a thorough evaluation of the effectiveness of the company’s existing safety and environmental management system but also a profound on-site education session on safety and environmental protection for all employees.
